“ Neo-trad has gone from niche to the next big thing, and this Seisiún Mór Traidisiúnta taps directly into that energy. ” District magazine
Step into the heart of Dublin’s Trad renaissance with a night that’s guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your heart soaring. The explosion of Neo-Trad and Trad in Ireland has seen it become the fast growing genre in the country. In celebration, District and ILFD are transforming Speranza into a big, high-energy seisiún. Gather round and join in the fun as the band play in the centre of the marquee. As trad meets the future, this joyful celebration of Ireland’s fastest-growing genre promises communal magic under the marquee. On the bill for this amazing event are The Wran and Landless.
Landless are Lily Power, Meabh Meir, Ruth Clinton and Sinead Lynch - a four-part traditional harmony group whose organic, haunting, and ethereal sound will stick with you long after their performance. The Wran are four brothers from the Comeragh mountains who seamlessly blend trad, folk, punk and psychedelica. Tommy, Danny, Seán and Stephen Dunford have already established themselves as one of Ireland’s most vital new bands.
