We are delighted to invite you to the launch of Sensation by Colin Graham. A collection of personal essays rooted in his experience growing up in 1980s Belfast, Graham writes on politics, literature, music, nature, and more. Graham will be in conversation with Declan Long, art critic and lecturer, to discuss all things text, memory, experience, Sensation.
All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.

ABOUT
COLIN GRAHAM is Professor of English and was formerly Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Philosophy at Maynooth University. He is the author of Northern Ireland: 30 Years of Photography , published by Belfast Exposed and the MAC in May 2013, Deconstructing Ireland (2001), Ideologies of Epic (1998), and was co-editor of The Irish Review from 2004 to 2020. Colin writes on literature, photography and culture.
DECLAN LONG is co-director of the MA/MFA Art in the Contemporary World-a theory and practice postgraduate programme for artists, curators and writers-and a lecturer in the School of Visual Culture at NCAD. He is a contributor to Artforum International, Frieze and Source Photographic Review, and the author of Ghost Haunted Land: Contemporary Art & Post-Troubles Northern Ireland (Manchester University Press, 2017). He is currently Chair of the CFA Academic Development Group.
