LAUNCH | Blood and Water by Rebecca Murphy

We are excited to host the launch of Blood and Water by Rebecca Murphy. Winner of the 2025 Mercier Press / RTÉ Today Show Novel Competition, Blood and Water is a spellbinding debut exploring grief, love and family legacy, set against the dramatic backdrop of Ireland’s Atlantic coast. Launching the novel on the night will be Sophie White, novelist, essayist, and podcaster.

ABOUT REBECCA MURPHY

REBECCA MURPHY is a writer from Cork, living in Wicklow with her wife and two dogs. Blood and Water is her debut novel. She was the winner of the RTÉ Today Show novel competition and the recipient of a Faber Academy Scholarship. Her influences range from Anne Enright to Stephen King, by way of Maeve Binchy. She has a degree in Drama and English from UCC.
