¿Cómo se escribe desde lo que permanece oculto? ¿Cómo hacer de la memoria un territorio de búsqueda? En este taller abordaremos la escritura como un ejercicio de recolección y de excavación: una práctica atenta a las capas del recuerdo, a sus fragmentos y resonancias. A través de lecturas y un ejercicio de escritura, exploraremos la memoria como materia viva que se desentierra, se recompone y se comparte. Afinaremos la escucha hacia lo íntimo y lo heredado: voces familiares, restos de relatos, huellas que persisten en el lenguaje. Nuestro objetivo será reunir esas esquirlas y darles forma en un pequeño relato.
The goal of this hands-on workshop is to gather shards of memory and shape them into a short narrative. Through readings and a writing exercise, you examine memory as living material that is unearthed, reassembled, and shared. Discover how to listen to what is intimate and inherited: family voices, remnants of stories and traces that persist in language.
A writer and a professor of philosophy based in Valparaíso, Chile, Daniela Catrileo’s writing grants voice and presence to those rarely seen in literature. She is a member of the Colectivo Mapuche Rangiñtulewfü and part of the editorial team at Yene , a digital magazine. She has published three poetry collections, Río herido, Guerra florida , and El territorio del viaje ; a novel Chilco ; story collection Piñen ; and the essay Sutura de las aguas: Un viaje especulativo sobre la impureza .
This workshop runs for 90 minutes. Fluent Spanish is required.
