Join us for the launch of the fiftieth anniversary edition of Dead as Doornails by Anthony Cronin. Featuring an introduction by Joseph O’Connor, Cronin’s masterpiece memoir recounts a post-war literary Dublin, living alongside the likes of Brendan Behan, Patrick Kavanagh and Flann O’Brien. Equally colourful and poignant, Dead as Doornails is a sharp account of a generation haunted by wasted talent. There will be readings on the night from Donal Fallon, Anne Haverty and Dermot Bolger.
All are welcome to attend, refreshments will be served.
