Carl Kinsella is a writer from Dublin who rarely lasts longer than a year in whatever city he’s currently living in. He writes a weekly social commentary column for The Journal called ‘Surrealing in the Years’, a name he came up with himself. He has twice been nominated in the ‘Popular Columnist of the Year’ category at the Irish Journalism Awards. He lost both times, but whatever, it’s not a big deal.
