What is Novel Scout?

Novel Scout is all about keeping you up to date with your favourite authors. It can be difficult to know when an author has a new book released, or if they're in your city for a festival or event. Novel Scout collects information from a growing number of authors and Irish bookshops bringing you all your favourite bookish information in one place.

We're all about supporting local business so every pre-order comes with links to buy through local Irish bookshops.

Subscribe to a custom newsletter on the Authors page and get updated when a new book is available to pre-order, or when an event featuring your favourite author is announced.

Events

Literary and book related events in Ireland are spread out across different venues, shops and websites. Our aim is to bring them all together in one place so you never miss an event from your favourite author, and you know everything that's happening in Irish literary scene.

We work at collecting as many book events in Ireland as possible, bringing them to one place so you can keep up to date and get them in your calendar. So you don't have to scour multiple websites and social media pages to find out what your favourite authors are doing next.

New Book Releases

Novel Scout lets you follow your favourite authors and find out about their new releases. We'll send you update email when their next book is added as a pre-order in an Irish bookshop so you can be the first to get it. Pre-Orders are particularly important for small authors and debut authors, by placing a pre-order you get the book the second it's released, and help support your favourite authors and, sometimes, get exclusive perks. What's not to love!
